“I am so happy with the value of this course.
I didn’t even know that all of THIS is exactly what I needed to know! You certainly practice what you preach!
I loved being able to get pronto responses to specific questions I had about the course and even about random flower business questions. I LOVED the videos and looked forward to them every week.
The course has such hefty content, the pdf’s can stand on their own. BUT the personal touch of the videos spurred me on. I needed that because I don’t trust myself to be a scholar with just me and the books. You brought it to life!
The most important content for me: specifics on website content. It is so top drawer…Making changes, knowing how important it is. Blog to come. You made me a believer.“

Who It’s For:
If you’re thinking about updating your website or refreshing your branding, then you’ll want to do this course first!
If you’re been in business for 3 years or more and you’re still unclear about who your brand really, truly serves, you will l-o-v-e this course.
The Art Of Good Business is for floral designers who want to build a long-lasting brand and need to better understand what it means to “attract ideal customers”.
Business owners at any level will gain tremendous insight from the course because I’m not talking about “theories”, I’m sharing real insights about my own branding journey and how I’ve practiced and improved over time.
Warning: Deliberate learning and practice will be required.
You will be forced to allow yourself to possibly make a mistake or misstep.
The sooner you can accept that “it” (your business, your decisions, your efforts) simply cannot be perfect, the sooner you’ll create the room to bloom and grow….because nothing’s perfect.
You have to start before you’re ready.
Take your business to the next level and hone your voice to develop your branding beyond just a new website and logo.
Can’t wait til October?
A note about Facebook Live:
Office hours allow me to address your specific questions throughout the course and also provide a more connected learning environment. You are not alone. The live aspect will help move you through the course and implement important changes for your business ASAP.
Times for office hours & Livestreams will vary each week in an effort to accommodate different time zones including evening office hours for a chance to talk live with floralpreneurs across the globe!
However, you do not need to attend live events or even keep “on pace” with the course. If you should “fall behind” or need more time to work through a specific lesson or you have a busy week in the midst of the January you can catch up at any time because the course lives online!
More from Alison:
It doesn’t matter if you’ve been in business for 3 years, 3 minutes or 3 decades…nothing defines your brand more than the experience you create for your customers.
The most important thing I’ve done for my floral design business over the past 15 years is work towards perfecting a customer service experience that reflects the values of my brand and speaks directly to the heart of my ideal clients.
You don’t need to be a branding expert to have a good brand, but you do need to dig deep and do some hard work to understand what it means to have a good brand and create a marketing strategy that works for your unique business goals.
I’m not a traditional “branding expert”, but I have studied and practiced (and practiced) my own approach to branding since I started my business in 2001. It’s said to take 10,000 hours of “deliberate practice” to achieve mastery in a field. I’ve easily exceeded that quota as I’ve worked on mastering my brand.
I began my career in the floral industry over 23 years ago, and I’ve been practicing and developing the voice of my brand in order to lead with integrity and attract my ideal clients ever since.
Join me on a brand building journey to help you hone your voice.

With love from me to you,
“After taking Alison’s class I clearly see that once I create my business model based on her guidance, I will have a template to grow my brand that can be only and uniquely mine. The class is broken down into easy to follow format and you can jump around as needed while remaining on target. However, I do suggest that you make sure to utilize all the content…trust me you do not want to miss a thing. The program is soul searching as well as thought provoking. Each time I go back over the material, I see things in a deeper hue. I’ve learned about myself, my belief system, my ideal client, my accountability, and my personal wisdom (yes! I have some!) I’ve been given a roadmap for business success that will be a baseline for my future growth. And here is another fantastic result of The Art of Good Business, I have acquired new confidence in my ability to manage all that office stuff! It must show because four weeks into the class the inquiries started coming, I booked three clients and have two new prospects!
Alison has put her heart and her vast knowledge into this class. She is open and supportive. Honest and kind. She will tell the truth. She is clear and concise. She is a bit of a genius and she’ll bring out the genius in you! Her class is one of a kind because of all the backing and support she offers.
Believe me, I’ve taken a lot of “let me help you” classes. This is the first one that has held me accountable for my personal implementation and success.
I won’t lie, at first, I thought, this is not my forte, this is going to be a challenge…
But Alison’s approach is to encourage us to take some action, because it all adds up. One success leads to the next and soon it was fun! My new discoveries are exciting, I found myself not wanting it to end, and was pleased to discover that the information in the class will always be available to me.
Alison is personally invested in your future. She really cares that you grow and implement change for positive results. Most of all she believes in your success. And she is ever guiding you to “keep doing beautiful work!”
I encourage you to indulge in the Art of Good Business. I promise when you are done, your journey to business success will have just begun.”
Questions you may have:
Q: A live online course? This sounds complicated. What’s this about?
A: I teach online business courses so you can learn in your own time. Each week The Art of Good Business will be delivered via e-mail as a pdf that you can download and print if you’d like. This course includes a private Facebook group which means we can interact with one another (including other florists) and I can address your specific questions over the course of the 5 weeks.
All you need to complete the course is a computer, a Facebook account and a desire to do more with your current brand.
Q: What if I don’t have a Facebook account?
A: Don’t be ridiculous, of course you have a Facebook account! You need one for your business! But if by some chance you do not, you can still take the course…I will be at my computer during office hours if you have specific questions you can reach me via e-mail. Having access to the group is better though. Much, much better.
Q: What if I don’t complete the course in 5 weeks?
A: You do not have to “complete” the course within a 5 week period. In fact, I’m putting so much juicy goodness into this course that I hope you’ll revisit and re-examine different lessons, not just over the course of 5 weeks, but over and over again in upcoming months and years. Your access to the course will not expire! In fact, I plan to run this course again in 2018 and you’ll be able to hop in and take The Art Of Good Business again if you’d like. (And I hope you will! Practice is essential to continual growth.)
